Northrop YF‑23A “Black Widow II” Advanced Tactical Fighter (PAV‑2). (S/N. 87‑0801). Following the ATF competition both YF‑23A's were transferred to NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center at Edwards AFB, California, without their engines. Both were transferred to their respective museums in mid‑1996. This airframe was reclaimed by Northrop Grumman in 2004 to be used as a display model for an F‑23‑based regional bomber, but was eventually returned to the museum in 2010.
